Is it possible to freeze aliquots of complete medium to avoid that growth factors will become unstable at 4°C if the medium stays open longer than 1 month?thanks

From our FAQ section: We do not recommend subjecting growth supplements to freeze-thaw, as this can result in reduced activity of components and the potential for components to irreversibly precipitate. Additionally, We do not recommend freezing media, as this can result in irreversible precipitation of media components.

Hi, is it recommended to grow HA in 2% FBS (10ml of FBS provided in the kit)? I am working with Astrocytes for the first time and wanted to make sure that I am doing everything right. So basically to make the complete medium, I add 2% FBS, 1% P/S and 1% growth supplement? Thanks!
